Bad Hair Day

30 Dec

Sometimes, you wake up and can instantly tell your hair isn’t going to cooperate with you for the day. Unfortunately for us, these days tend to be on some of the most important days of our lives. It ranges from me trying to get the right spike in my hair and having the rest of my hair lay completely flat to girls needing that perfect ponytail and bangs. Sadly, there are days when our hair just doesn’t want to cooperate with us- and we have to deal with that.

The Dilemma

Clearly hairstyle is the most important thing someone judges you by. I mean, it’s not like they care what shoes are on your feet or what cologne/perfume you put on that morning. I mean, they probably don’t even care if you showered last night/early morning. Oh, wait a minute…they do.

Don’t get me wrong, hairstyle is very important…especially that hair flip for the guys with the longer hair…it’s almost a signature move. But, some days, we have to go above and beyond that messed up hair and fix it ourselves! Whether it be putting a hat on to cover up the messy hair or trying to overcompensate for it with some cologne (probably a bad idea), we’re constantly trying to look perfect.

Unfortunately, perfection isn’t going to happen today- and your hair is a first testament to that. So, next time I’m having a bad hair day, maybe I’ll just get up, get dressed and go straight out that front door…leaving my hair alone.

Ever had a bad hair day? Of course you have! Leave your experience in the comments!
